# Overview

> This section handles the essential APIs for processing transactions on behalf of users, representing them as members of your GetEquity syndicate.

> **Managed model.** Members are real GetEquity accounts that GetEquity holds for your users while you act as the intermediary — see the [Managed integration guide](https://getequity.io/docs/api-reference/investments/managed.md). If you are regulated and run your own ledger, you want [Trade](https://getequity.io/docs/api-reference/endpoint/Trade/trade.md) and [Customers](https://getequity.io/docs/api-reference/endpoint/Customers/customers.md) instead.

Unlike a Direct-model customer, a member has their own credentials, wallet, balances, orders and transaction history. Every call below is scoped to a member `id` and authenticated with your organisation's secret key.

### Managing members

**Create member:** Create a user

**Get members:** Get All Users

**Get member by email:** Fetch a single member by their email address

### Funding and withdrawals

**Fund member wallet:** Generate a link to fund a user's wallet per currency

**Withdraw from member wallet:** Debit a member's currency wallet to a bank account

**Withdrawal request:** Create a withdrawal request for a member

### Investing on their behalf

**Buy token:** Place a buy order for a member on the secondary market

**Sell token:** Place a sell order for tokens the member owns

**Fund invest quote:** Quote an investment in a live raise before committing

**Fund invest:** Invest in a live raise on the member's behalf

**Cancel member order:** Cancel an open order belonging to a member

### Reporting

**Get member wallet balance:** Get a user's wallet balance across all available currencies

**Get member token balance:** Get a user's wallet balance across all available purchased tokens

**Member orders:** Retrieve a member's orders

**Member transactions:** Retrieve a member's transaction history

Before using these endpoints, ensure the `Bearer` variable is correctly configured for authentication.
